Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics, a web analytics tool that helps us understand how users interact with our website. Child Users

We recognize that children deserve additional privacy protection. For this reason, we treat child users (those under 18 years old in Oman or other digital consent age in their country) differently to ensure parental control and that we only collect the minimum information needed to provide Muthabr services.

Child users are allowed to create an account on Muthabr, but we require them to provide their parent's email address instead of their own, and register using a username not associated with their real name.

Key features for child users:

No contact synchronization or links created to invite others to join the child's group
Friendship invitations are sent by sharing or adding the child's user code, designed to direct invitations to friends they know in real life
Children cannot add friends from different grade levels
The friends' chat environment is regulated according to Muthabr standards. Muthabr will automatically delete inappropriate, indecent, or bullying expressions
Child users' profiles will be visible to their friends' profiles
You can block or unfollow other users on behalf of your child user
You can disable social features for your child user under Settings at any time
You can disable leaderboards for your child user under Settings in your child's profile at any time

Parents can remove age restrictions for their child. Additionally, parents can report any abuse to us at abuse@muthabr.com.

Regarding the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act, Muthabr collects personal information from children under 13 for the sole purpose of executing the service's internal operations. If we discover we have inadvertently collected additional personal information from these children, we will delete it. If you believe this is the case, please contact us at privacy@muthabr.com.

Changes to Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time. We will post a notice on our website when making significant changes, and we will update the modification date above.

Terms and Conditions of Service

Access to and use of the Muthabr website, mobile applications, and related services operated by Muthabr Company ("Muthabr" or "we") are subject to the terms and conditions set forth here.

By accessing or using any part of the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions, including any future amendments.

Muthabr may modify, update, or change these terms and conditions. If we do so, we will post a notice that we have made changes to these terms and conditions on the sites for at least 7 days after posting the changes, and we will indicate at the bottom of the terms and conditions the date of the last revision of these terms.

Website and Service Description

Muthabr provides users access to a variety of educational services. Muthabr may, at its sole discretion and at any time, update, change, suspend, make improvements to any aspect of the service, or temporarily or permanently discontinue it.

Acceptable Use of Services

You are responsible for your use of the services and any use of the services through your account. Our goal is to create a positive, useful, and safe user experience. To promote this goal, we prohibit certain types of behavior that may be harmful to other users or to us. When using the services, you must comply with our community guidelines.

Muthabr is a safe place for learners of all ages. Harassment and harmful content will not be tolerated. The use of symbols, names, and texts that promote hate - as well as harassment, stalking, impersonation, and directing sexual comments toward someone - are considered abuse. The same applies to nude images, personal photos, and offensive usernames.

As stated in the terms, Muthabr reserves the right to replace images or remove accounts that violate the terms of use at its sole discretion.

Registration

Regarding registration and use of the service, you agree to:

Provide accurate, current, and complete information about yourself as required by Muthabr;
Maintain the confidentiality of your password and other information related to your account security;
Maintain and promptly update any registration information you provide to Muthabr, to keep this information accurate, current, and complete;
Take full responsibility for all uses of your account and for any actions that occur through your account.

User Acknowledgment

You acknowledge and warrant to Muthabr that your access and use of the service will be in accordance with these terms and conditions and all applicable laws, rules, and regulations in the Sultanate of Oman and any other relevant jurisdiction, including those related to online conduct or acceptable content, and those related to the transmission of data or information from the Sultanate of Oman or where you reside.

Applications License

According to the terms and conditions of this agreement, Muthabr grants you a non-transferable and non-exclusive license to download, install, and use one copy of each application in binary code form only on an interactive wireless device that you own or control.

You may not extract or attempt to extract the source code of all or any part of any application, or allow any third party to extract or attempt to extract such source code, or perform reverse engineering, decompiling, disassembling, or translating any application or any part thereof.

Muthabr owns and retains all intellectual property rights and other rights in the applications and any changes, modifications, or corrections to them.

Service Fees

Fees and Taxes

You agree to pay all applicable fees and taxes incurred by you or anyone using the Muthabr account registered in your name. Muthabr may review the prices of services provided at any time.

All information you provide regarding a purchase or other monetary transaction with the service must be accurate, complete, and current.

You agree to pay all charges incurred by credit card users, debit card, or other payment method used in connection with a purchase or transaction with the service at the rates in effect when such charges are incurred. You will pay any applicable taxes, if any, relating to any purchases or other monetary transactions.

Payment Operations

All financial transactions related to the service will be processed by paymob according to their terms of use, privacy policy, and/or any applicable payment terms and conditions. We encourage you to familiarize yourself with this third party's practices. Muthabr shall not be liable under any circumstances for the acts or omissions of any third-party payment processor, including but not limited to system failure or payment service interruption.

Refund Policy

All payments are non-refundable. There are no refunds or credit for partially used virtual items or subscription periods. However, Muthabr may grant refunds or credit on a case-by-case basis at our sole discretion.

Muthabr's granting of a refund or credit in one instance does not obligate Muthabr to provide a refund or credit in the future under any circumstances.

External Links, Websites, and Services

The service may contain links to external websites, advertisers, services, special offers, or other events or activities not owned or controlled by Muthabr.

We do not endorse or assume any responsibility for any external websites, information, materials, products, or services. If you access any external website, service, or content through Muthabr, you understand that these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy do not apply to your use of these sites.

You expressly acknowledge and agree that Muthabr will not be responsible, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss arising from your use of any external website, service, or content.

The service may include advertisements, which may be targeted to the content or information on the service, or other information. The types and extent of advertising by Muthabr on the service are subject to change. In consideration for Muthabr granting you access to and use of the service, you agree that Muthabr and its third-party service providers and partners may place such advertising in connection with the display of content or information submitted by you or others.

Warranties

The Service, including all images, audio files, and other content therein, and any other information, property, and rights granted or provided to you by Muthabr, are provided "as is". Muthabr makes no representations or warranties of any kind regarding the Service, whether express or implied, and expressly disclaims all such representations and warranties, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, Muthabr makes no representation or warranty of any kind regarding accuracy, Service availability, completeness, informational content, error-free content, results to be obtained from use, or non-infringement.

Access to and use of the Service may be unavailable during peak demand periods, system upgrades, malfunctions, or scheduled or unscheduled maintenance, or for other reasons.

Cancellation

Muthabr may terminate your access and use of the Service immediately at any time, for any reason, at which point you will have no right to use the Service.

You may cancel your Muthabr account at any time by following the instructions available through the Service.

Property Rights in Service Content

All content available through the Service, including designs, texts, graphics, images, information, software, audio files, and other files, and their selection and arrangement, are the exclusive property of Muthabr.

You may not modify, copy, distribute, frame, reproduce, republish, download, scrape, display, post, transmit, or sell any Service content in any form or by any means, in whole or in part, except as expressly permitted in these Terms and Conditions.

You may not use any data mining, robots, scraping, or similar data gathering or extraction methods to obtain Service content.

As between you and Muthabr, all data, information, and materials resulting from your access and use of educational activities available on or through the Service are exclusively owned by Muthabr.

All Muthabr rights not expressly granted in these Terms and Conditions are reserved to Muthabr.

Trademarks

"Muthabr" and all other trademarks, service marks, graphics, and logos used in connection with the Service are trademarks or service marks of Muthabr or their respective owners, some of which are registered with the Patent and Trademark Office in the Sultanate of Oman or other trademark authorities.

Access to and use of the Service does not grant you the right or license to reproduce or use the Muthabr name or any of Muthabr's or third parties' trademarks, service marks, graphics, or logos in any form.
